Voltalin 50mg Suppository includes Diclofenac, a medication of the Nonsteroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs class. (NSAIDs). It is used to treat pain and inflammation caused by sprains, strains, and other injuries, as well as post-surgery, gout (excessive uric acid accumulation in joints), backache, rheumatoid arthritis (immune system mistakenly attacks healthy cells, causing inflammation), osteoarthritis (flexible tissue at the ends of bones wears down), ankylosing spondylitis (spine inflammation), frozen shoulder, fractures (Ex. tendonitis, tenosynovitis, bursitis).

Diclofenac sodium is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine that is anti-rheumatic, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic. (NSAID). It has uricosuric characteristics as well. Diclofenac works by reducing prostaglandin synthesis, which is a major contributor to inflammation, pain, and fever.
Diclofenac is rapidly and extensively absorbed from the gastrointestinal system when taken with or after a meal. Peak plasma concentrations are achieved in an average of 2 hours after intake. At therapeutic doses, it binds to plasma proteins 99.7% of the time. Diclofenac is metabolized by the liver in a first-pass mechanism.

Use Voltalin 50mg Suppository exactly as advised by the doctor. The suppository should be inserted into the rectum (back passage) by removing the plastic wrapper. Wash your hands before and after inserting the suppository.
Before using Voltalin 50mg Suppository, it is important to inform your doctor about any medications you are currently taking. These may include medications for diabetes, blood clotting, excess water removal, mental health problems, cancer treatment, immunity suppression, bacterial infections, pain relief, pregnancy termination, high blood pressure and heart problems, inflammation suppression, depression, fits, fungal infections, and cholesterol reduction. Your doctor will evaluate the potential interactions between these medications and Voltalin 50mg Suppository and determine whether it is safe for you to use.
Patients who are hypersensitive to any of the items' ingredients should avoid using them. Peptic ulcer, hypersensitivity to Diclofenac, as well as other non-steroid anti-inflammatory agents. Diclofenac is also contra-indicated in asthmatic patients who have had an attack of asthma, urticaria, or acute rhinitis triggered by acetylsalicylic acid or other drugs that inhibit prostaglandin synthetase.
